Here’s a gooey, crowd-pleasing Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread — perfect for game day or alongside pasta.


🧄🧀 Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 round loaf sourdough or Italian bread
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1½–2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Prep the bread
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    Using a serrated knife, cut the bread in a crosshatch pattern (about 1-inch squares), stopping before you cut through the bottom.
  2. Make garlic butter
    Mix melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Stuff with cheese
    Gently pull open the cuts and drizzle garlic butter throughout.
    Stuff shredded cheeses into all the crevices.
  4. Bake
    Wrap loaf loosely in foil and bake 15 minutes.
    Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve
    Let cool 5 minutes, then pull apart and enjoy!

🔥 Tips

  • Add cooked crumbled bacon for extra indulgence
  • Swap mozzarella for provolone for sharper flavor
  • Brush the top with extra butter before uncovering for a crispier crust
