Ooo, classic and dangerously snackable 😄 Here’s a simple, foolproof White Chocolate Haystacks recipe.

White Chocolate Haystacks

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (about 2 cups) white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
  • 2½–3 cups chow mein noodles
  • Optional mix-ins (pick 1–2):
    • ½ cup roasted peanuts or cashews
    • ½ cup sweetened coconut flakes
    • ¼ cup dried cranberries or raisins
    • Festive sprinkles (for the top)

Instructions

  1. Melt the white chocolate
    • Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time, until smooth
    • OR melt gently over a double boiler
  2. Fold it all together
    • Gently stir the chow mein noodles and any mix-ins into the melted chocolate
    • Make sure everything gets coated without crushing the noodles
  3. Form the haystacks
    • Drop spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet
    • Sprinkle toppings on while still wet, if using
  4. Set
    • Let them firm up at room temp (about 30 minutes)
    • Or chill 10–15 minutes in the fridge for faster setting

Tips & Variations

  • ✨ Add a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness
  • 🎄 Holiday twist: red & green sprinkles or crushed candy canes
  • 🍫 Too sweet? Swap half the white chocolate for milk chocolate
  • 🥜 Allergies? Skip nuts—still amazing
