Garlic & Butter Flatbread
Ingredients (makes 6–8 flatbreads)
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ cup plain yogurt or milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
Garlic Butter
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2–3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Make dough
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in yogurt (or milk) and oil until a soft dough forms. - Knead & rest
Knead lightly on a floured surface (2–3 minutes).
Cover and rest 20 minutes. - Divide & roll
Divide dough into balls.
Roll each into a thin circle or oval. - Cook
Heat a dry skillet over medium-high.
Cook flatbread 1–2 minutes per side until bubbles form and golden spots appear. - Garlic butter finish
Mix melted butter and garlic.
Brush over hot flatbread.
Sprinkle with parsley and a pinch of salt. - Serve warm
