Here’s a soothing Bay Leaf and Clove Herbal Tea—warm, aromatic, and traditionally enjoyed for digestion and relaxation 🌿☕

Bay Leaf and Clove Herbal Tea

Ingredients (1–2 cups)

  • 2 dried bay leaves
  • 3–4 whole cloves
  • 2 cups water
  • Optional: honey, lemon, or cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Boil water
    Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Simmer herbs
    Add bay leaves and cloves.
    Reduce heat and simmer 10–15 minutes.
  3. Strain & serve
    Strain into a cup.
    Sweeten with honey or add lemon if desired.

How to Drink

  • Sip warm, especially after meals or before bed
  • 1 cup once or twice daily

Traditional Uses (non-medical)

  • Aids digestion and reduces bloating
  • Warming and comforting
  • Pleasant aromatic tea for cold days

Important Notes

  • Use culinary bay leaves only (not ornamental bay laurel)
  • Do not crush cloves excessively—tea can become very strong
  • Avoid excessive consumption, especially if pregnant or on medication
