Put Canned Peaches in a Slow Cooker

Here’s the easy slow-cooker peach dessert people usually mean — warm, cozy, and perfect with ice cream 🍑

Slow Cooker Peach Dessert

Spread canned peaches and these 3 ingredients in the slow cooker:

  1. Dry yellow cake mix
  2. Butter (sliced or melted)
  3. Ground cinnamon

How to make it

  1. Drain 2 cans sliced peaches (15 oz each) and spread in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle 1 box dry yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches (do not stir).
  3. Sprinkle ½–1 tsp cinnamon over the cake mix.
  4. Dot with ½ cup butter, sliced thin (or drizzle melted butter on top).
  5. Cover and cook:
    • High: 2–3 hours
    • Low: 4–5 hours
      until bubbly and golden.

Serve

  • Warm with vanilla ice cream
  • Or whipped cream
  • Or a drizzle of caramel sauce

Tips & Variations

  • Use peach juice instead of draining fully if you like it saucier
  • Swap cake mix for spice cake or butter pecan
  • Add chopped pecans or walnuts on top
