Homemade 3 Musketeers Candy
Ingredients
Nougat center
- 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow crème
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate coating
- 2½ cups milk chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp shortening or coconut oil (for smooth coating)
Instructions
- Make the nougat
- In a bowl, mix cocoa powder and hot water until smooth.
- Stir in marshmallow crème and vanilla.
- Gradually mix in powdered sugar until thick and fluffy.
- Shape
- Press mixture into a parchment-lined 8×8 pan.
- Freeze for 30–45 minutes until firm.
- Cut
- Remove and cut into small bars or squares.
- Melt chocolate
- Melt chocolate chips and shortening together until smooth.
- Dip
- Dip each nougat piece into melted chocolate.
- Place on parchment paper.
- Set
- Refrigerate until chocolate is firm (about 15–20 minutes).
