Iowa Party Bites (Corn, Bacon & Cream Cheese Cups)
Ingredients (about 24 bites)
- 1 cup sweet corn (fresh, frozen & thawed, or canned & drained)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tbsp green onions, finely sliced
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Pinch of salt (optional)
- 24 mini phyllo shells or wonton cups
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix filling
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, corn, cheddar, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. - Fill cups
Spoon mixture evenly into phyllo shells or wonton cups. - Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes, until hot and lightly golden. - Serve warm
Optional Add-Ins / Variations
