Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork, turkey, or spicy)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • Optional add-ins:
    • ½ cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack
    • 1–2 green onions, finely chopped
    • Dash of garlic powder or black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage
    Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Mix filling
    While sausage is still warm, stir in cream cheese (and any add-ins) until smooth and well combined.
  3. Prepare crescents
    Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  4. Fill & roll
    Spoon about 1–2 tablespoons of sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll up tightly.
  5. Bake
    Place on a lined baking sheet.
    Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 11–13 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm
