Here’s a simple and refreshing Cucumbers in Sour Cream recipe 🥒🍶—perfect as a side dish or salad.


Cucumbers in Sour Cream

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon sugar (for a slightly sweet version)

Instructions

  1. Prepare cucumbers
    • Peel if desired, then slice thinly.
    • Optional: Sprinkle with a little salt and let sit 10–15 minutes, then drain excess water for a crisper salad.
  2. Mix dressing
    • In a bowl, combine sour cream, dill, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sugar if using.
  3. Combine
    • Toss cucumbers with the sour cream dressing until evenly coated.
  4. Chill & serve
    • Refrigerate for 30 minutes for best flavor.
    • Serve cold as a refreshing side dish.
