Pecan Pie Bark

Here’s an easy, irresistible Pecan Pie Bark—all the gooey, nutty goodness of pecan pie in a quick, shareable treat.


🥧🍬 Pecan Pie Bark

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups chopped pecans (or pecan halves)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1½–2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Toast pecans (optional but recommended)
    • Toast pecans in a dry skillet or at 350°F for 5–7 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Make pecan pie topping
    • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
    • Stir in brown sugar and heavy cream.
    • Bring to a gentle boil, stirring constantly.
    • Boil 2–3 minutes until thick and glossy.
    • Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and salt.
    • Fold in pecans.
  3. Add chocolate
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment.
    • Spread chocolate chips evenly.
    • Pour hot pecan mixture over chocolate.
    • Let sit 2–3 minutes, then spread smoothly.
  4. Set
    • Chill in the refrigerator 30–45 minutes until firm.
  5. Break & serve
    • Break into bark pieces.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra pie flavor: Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
  • White chocolate swirl: Drizzle melted white chocolate on top.
  • Salted version: Sprinkle flaky sea salt before chilling.
  • Holiday-ready: Add a splash of bourbon or rum (1 tsp) to the pecan mixture.
